Kansas was trying to mount a late rally to tie or take the lead against South Dakota State. With time winding down, they needed to spike the ball for clock purposes. This happened:

That’s right, they fumbled the snap trying to spike it, then fell on the ball to kill the clock. On a day where much of social media mocked the Jayhawks, this didn’t help matters.
We will remember this one in December for sure.
