Right now they are in the “creation” part as they will be testing out some different styles….
LSU is getting an official beer thanks to a new partnership with Baton Rouge brewery Tin Roof……
What beer Tin Roof will make for the Tigers is still up for debate, but whatever it is should be ready in time for the 2016 football season. To figure out what exactly the LSU beer will be the brewery is turning to LSU fans to help decide.
“We’ve created a slate of 8-10 test batches of various styles to sample in a blind tasting panel,” said Tin Roof co-founder William McGehee in the release. “Each recipe was designed with the types of activities that LSU fans enjoy, such as tailgating and grilling out. The panel will be made up of these fans and they will determine the winning style that we’ll brew.”
