According to a report, Baylor will name Jim Grobe as the interim head coach for the 2016-17 season.

As the tweet above points out, this move comes as somewhat of a surprise. On Friday, ESPN reported that the interim job was offered to defensive coordinator Phil Bennett, who was expected to accept the position.
A 19-year coaching veteran, Grobe has a career record of 110-115-1. He’s guided his teams to five bowl games, and led Wake Forest to the ACC Championship in 2006.
