As a junior, Torii Hunter Jr caught 28 passes for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and scored two touchdowns. If you are a baseball fan, you probably recognize the name Torii Hunter. He was a five time All-Star and nine time Golden Glove winner who played the majority of his career with the Minnesota Twins and then the Los Angeles Angels.
It probably won’t come as a surprise that Torii Hunter Jr might end up following in his fathers footsteps as a professional baseball player. On Saturday, Hunter Jr (a 23rd round draft pick) signed his contract with the Angels.

Even though Hunter has signed his contract, it’s being reported that he will still play football for Notre Dame this season.
