Let me refresh your memory a bit….
Clay was going in for an easy TD against Oregon but he dropped the ball before he reached the endzone and the Ducks scooped it up and ran it back for a TD of their own. That was the turning point in the game and the Ducks went on to win 51-27. Here’s a link to that video in case you want to watch it again.
Having some time to think about his mistake, Clay made a Valentine’s Day card based on that play and posted it on Twitter….
While it was an epic mistake that some likely will never let him live down, it’s good to see that he has a sense of humor about it and hopefully he can move on and, of course, not make this same mistake twice.
