The National Football Foundation released a document today highlighting the key rule changes for the 2014 season.
For the most part, the changes are designed to correct the mistakes associated with targeting penalties.
While I encourage you to read the entire release, Arkansas State fans will want to pay extra close attention to change No. 4 in the document. Under the new rules, last season’s penalties for not wearing contrasting uniforms against Auburn would have been handled much differently.
