Boston College Honors 2015 HOF Class At Halftime Of Wake Forest Game

As colleges and universities around the United States prepare for the upcoming college football season, there are a few special days and ceremonies for each school to get ready for as well over the course of the campaign. For the Boston College Eagles, eight former athletes will join the BC Varsity Club Hall of Fame and will be honored with a halftime celebration during their October 10 game against Wake Forest. The actual induction ceremony will be one day earlier.

In addition to Chris Georgules, Mary Guarino, Paul Keegan, Mike Mottau, Alissa Murphy Richardson and Kelly McManus Souza, two former Eagles football players Doug Brzezinski and two-time Super Bowl champion Damien Woody will be part of the 2015 class.

Woody was the 17th-overall selection by the New England Patriots in the first round of the 1999 NFL Draft and won two Super Bowl championships with the team in 2002 and 2004. Woody was named to the Pro Bowl in 2002 and is known for his versatility on the offensive line, as he spent time in every spot on the o-line during his career.

Brzezinski played on the line with Woody and was a third-round pick in the 1999 NFL Draft. He spent six seasons in the NFL.

BC tickets on the secondary market according to TiqIQ.com have an average price of $72.94 with a get-in price of $10 for entrance into Alumni Stadium for this special day. In addition to the game where the 2015 Hall of Fame class is being honored, below is the most and least expensive Eagles tickets for the upcoming season.

Most Expensive: 11/21/2015 | Notre Dame Fighting Irish vs. Boston College Eagles | Fenway Park | Average Price: $944.71 | Get-in Price: $549

The Holy War between Notre Dame and Boston College is the Eagles’ most expensive ticket this season, and for good reason. Aside from playing a nationally-recognized program like Notre Dame as part of their Shamrock Series (which gives the Fighting Irish one home game not actually played at home), the game is kicking off in Fenway Park, home of the Boston Red Sox. For a truly unique and cool football experience, since Fenway Park never hosts football games, Hipmunk.com has flights to and from Boston, in addition to having options for cheap Boston hotels to be any fan’s No. 1 travel resource.

Least Expensive: 9/12/2015 | Boston College Eagles vs. Howard Bison | Alumni Stadium | Average Price: $44 | Get-in Price: $4

On the more reasonable side, Boston College hosts Howard in their second game of the season after the opener against Maine. Overall, the Eagles begin their season on a four-game home stand, which also includes Florida State and Northern Illinois following this affair with the Bison. Boston College will face Duke in their first tough road test shortly after.
