Oklahoma Sooners star QB Baker Mayfield is a rising senior so he has one year of eligibility left. Buzz started going around that he may be able to get another year of eligibility due to his being a walk-on for one season at Texas Tech.
After a Big 12 vote, that won’t be happening unless Mayfield transfers out of the conference…..
Rule change that would have given OU QB Baker Mayfield an extra year of eligibility failed on a 5-5 vote of the Big 12 faculty reps.
