You really could not have scripted the home finale for New York Yankees legend Derek Jeter any better. Jeter hit a walk-off base hit against the Baltimore Orioles Thursday night in the final game he will play in front of his home crowd before heading to retirement. It was a magical moment for baseball, and one that must have Big Ten commissioner Jim Delany beaming.
