On Thursday, the Aggies will travel to Columbia to take on the Gamecocks at 6pm (EST) in the first ever live college football game aired on the SEC Network.
This is only the Aggies third season in the SEC so our “fun fact” isn’t that troubling yet but if the Aggies lose to South Carolina then it becomes a trend.
Fun Fact: Texas A&M has never won it’s conference opener since joining the SEC.
In fairness, the Aggies have been matched up with some tough opening opponents as they got Florida in 2012 and Bama in 2013. South Carolina in 2014 doesn’t look much easier as the Gamecocks are a 10.5 point favorite.
