Tied at 31-31, Tulsa had the ball and a chance to win the game. Instead of the Tulsa offense driving the length of the field to take the lead, it was the Houston defense that made the big play. The Cougars stripped QB Dane Evans and then returned the fumble for a touchdown taking a 38-31 lead late in the fourth quarter….

Then, Tulsa drove the ball right down the field and got the ball down inside the two yard line with just one play left. Tulsa came up with a good play but the Houston defense stoned the receiver right at the goal line as the Cougars went on to win…..
