The undefeated Kentucky Wildcats play at LSU tonight at 7 PM but a weird thing happened on their way to Baton Rouge. They lost a player.
John Calipari tweeted this out last night….
I thought Trey got on plane but we can't find him.

The Trey in question is Trey Lyles. Trey is a freshman forward who averages 7.5 points per game but has not played in the last three games.
Calipari then follows up with this tweet….
Has anyone in Lexington seen Trey? If anyone sees him, please let us know. #WhereIsTrey

We don’t know if this is serious or not but the hashtag from Calipari certainly makes it appear as if this is something that should be considered “funny” and not serious.
Of course, the internet being the internet, we now have a meme that shows Trey missing….
This picture of Trey Lyles reminds me of the old @DimeMag "Where are they now" segment they use to have pic.twitter.com/e56no5BVEx

Is this some kind of bizarre publicity stunt by Calipari, a motivational tactic or just a hashtag gone wrong? Hopefully, everything turns out to be okay with Lyles.
Calipari has added another tweet this morning asking where Trey is and telling him via social media that if he doesn’t show up for the shoot-around that he won’t play tonight. This is bizarre….
Message to Trey: Wherever you are, if you don't make shoot around today, you won't play in the game tonight. #WhereIsTrey
