Austin Allen, who Bret Bielema has completed previously on his leadership skills, is the only Razorback QB with game experience. An interesting side note is that Allen beat out USC transfer Ricky Town (red-shirt freshman). Allen describes himself as less of a scrambler than his brother and his style is more of someone who will hang in the pocket. Bielema calls Austin more competitive than his brother. Now that the Razorbacks have named a starter they can head to fall practice with Austin getting the majority of the reps as they ramp up to game one.
