Report: UNLV will hire high school coach to be their head football coach

Many sources including the Las Vegas Review Journal are reporting that UNLV will make Bishop Gorman high school coach Tony Sanchez their next head football coach.

When they were last looking for a coach, the Rebels dipped into the FCS pool by going with Bobby Hauck. They plucked him out of Montana where he went 80-17 and won three National Championships. It seemed like a great hire but after five seasons, and a 15-49 overall record, he resigned.

Is going for a High School coach refreshing or is it a move of desperation?
