Samaje Perine breaks Melvin Gordon’s single game rushing record

Last week, Melvin Gordon broke the FBS single-game rushing record by piling up 408 yards. That record had stood since 1999. Just one week later, Oklahoma freshman RB Samaje Perine broke Gordon’s record by running for 427 yards (and 5 TDs) against Kansas.
