Alabama needed a boost and Eddie Jackson provided it at the end of the second half for the Crimson Tide. Down 14, Ole Miss punted and Jackson made them pay with an 85 yard punt return for a TD.
There were two penalty flags thrown on the return but both were against Ole Miss. The TD stood and Alabama pulled to within 7 points of Ole Miss with one minute left in the second quarter.
