The highlight of the first half for the Stanford Cardinal should have been an improbable, amazing 98 yard punt return for a TD by Christian McCaffrey. Unfortunately, there was a penalty on that play that negated it.
Instead, it’s been Ryan Burns that has been the early story for the Stanford Cardinal. He’s started 6 for 6 for 109 yards and this great play-action TD pass to Michael Rector to put the Cardinal up 10-0 in the second quarter against the Kansas State Wildcats…..
