SEC Network will pay out $5 million per school this summer

The SEC Network launched in August of last season to much hype and curiosity. The first year saw cable and satellite distributors jump on board quickly and that has helped the network do something they didn’t think they would do so quickly…turn a profit. From 247Sports: South Carolina athletics director Ray Tanner told the school’s Board […]

The Big 12’s problem is that it doesn’t merely have one problem. The league has to make numerous adjustments, from non-conference scheduling to the conference title game issue to the split-championship issue which did not help the league’s cause. Oh, and the league might want to consider expanding IF the 12-team requirement for conference title games is upheld in April.

Conferences Would Bite Their Nose to Spite Their Face with Freshmen Ineligibility

The NCAA is widely considered the big bad beast of ineptness in the realm of college sports. Not only is it trendy to pick on all things governing-body related, it is expected if you care about anything that deals with their fictional ideal of amateurism that you pile on them as often as possible. UCLA targeting former Penn State DC Tom Bradley to lead defense
